Comprised of hospitals committed to advancing women’s heart health, the WomenHeart National Hospital Alliance (NHA) is a partnership that seeks to ensure that women heart disease patients in every community have access to information, education, and patient support services.



Nominate a Heart Patient to Become a WomenHeart Champion
at the 2018 Science & Leadership Symposium

WomenHeart is currently looking for dynamic, driven women with heart disease to apply to become WomenHeart Champions at the 2018 WomenHeart Science & Leadership Symposium. This is the nation’s only volunteer program that trains women with heart disease to become successful heart health advocates in their community.

WomenHeart Champions sponsored by National Hospital Alliance (NHA) members will be trained to return to their hospitals and serve as Community Educators or Support Network Coordinators.

How to nominate: 

  •  Print and review our 2018 NHA Roadmap to use as a checklist. As the NHA liaison, it’s important you review this step by step guide to recruiting for your hospital.

Become an NHA Member

By joining the NHA, your hospital has access to educational materials and programs developed by the nation’s medical leaders in women’s heart health, and access to the training and technical assistance required to establish and maintain a post-discharge support group for your women heart patients. Partner with WomenHeart to become a leader in your community in women's heart health.
